Last night I attended an event put on by Sandals Resorts. It’s called a Game Changer and it’s where they update all the travel agents on what is new with Sandals. The most exciting news is that Sandals is adding some very awesome overwater bungalows at Sandals Royal Caribbean. There will only be a few and they are sure to be in high demand.
Sandals is one of the most well-known chains for honeymooners. I often have clients request Sandals because they have seen the commercials on TV. I also often have clients say they do not want to stay at a Sandals because they have seen the advertisements and think Sandals is too cliché. I have been to almost all of the Sandals and I can truly say they are not cliché. You just need guidance to know which Sandals works for what you are deaming about for your honeymoon.
Even if you know you want to go to a Sandals Resort you still need a travel agent. Why? Each Sandals Resort is different. They have a different vibe, a different clientele, a different beach, different island… You get the picture. If you want a totally relaxing honeymoon I would recommend a different resort than if you wanted a lot of activities and a nightclub. Some of the Sandals are newer than others or have been updated recently. This is important if you care about the décor. Some Sandals have butler service at a very affordable price others it’s a little more but it worth it for the resort location. These are all aspects that a well-educated travel agent will be able to guide you through to choose the Sandals that will best fit what you are looking for. Or, maybe to guide you outside of the Sandals Resorts chain to another resort that better meets what you are looking for.
